Pastor John Fanella

Pastor John has served as Pastor of Beulah Congregational for 10 years. Prior he was Associate Pastor of Calvary Church in Charlotte, NC (a church of over 3,000 people). Pastor John is the Great Plains Area Representative for the Conservative Congregational Christian Conference. He completed his theological study at Arizona College of the Bible, and Wheaton Graduate School, and postgraduate study at Duke University. He is the author, editor, or contributor of a dozen books including: Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God Made Easier to Read (Presbyterian and Reformed), The NIV Pastor's Bible (Zondervan), Pastoral Ministry in the 21st Century (Group), and he played a key editorial role in the Dialogue of Faith Series (Waterbrook). He was also involved in the translation and international publication of The New Living Translation of the Bible (Tyndale). He has also served as Chaplain of the North Dakota House of Representatives. Pastor John has been married to his wife Cheryl for 18 years. They have two children, Jonathan (14), and Faith (12), and a third child due in March 2012. Interesting fact: Pastor John is deeply influenced by the ministry of J.C. Ryle.
